Sacred Source is a unique and mindful Reiki(pronounced ray-key) experience that serves a client spiritually, mentally and physically through a holistic approach. Sacred Source is a new center for Reiki in Kansas City, which is focused solely on individual needs of clients. David Quiroz, Sacred Sources’ Reiki Master, approaches his healing work with a personalized connection with his client. He believes their story must be part of their healing.
Reiki is a healing technique that originated in Japan. "Rei" meaning spiritual wisdom and "Ki" meaning life energy. The Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit to infuse the recipient's body with positive vibrational energy. Reiki is channeled through the practitioner's hands and activates the body's natural healing ability. It is an intelligent energy that goes wherever it is needed in the body and also on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. It works to create a sense of harmony and balance within the mind, body and spirit of the recipient.

Join Our Sacred Source Community
If you have never experienced reiki before, it is important that you take time to personally learn about how this healing approach might serve you and your needs whether those needs are physical, spiritual, mental or emotional. You may learn that you have a combination of several of those areas. Many people will reach out to members of the reiki community and attend reiki circles.
A reiki circle is a gathering of reiki practitioners and individuals that have no experience with reiki and they share short (15 minute) sessions as a preview to what a full reiki session will look like. It is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and to offer a first-hand glimpse of what reiki entails.
